Melbourne's City Skirts

Head north of Melbourne city centre and you will be greeted by the suburbs of Fitzroy and Carlton, the abode to Melbourne's alternative and Italian communities. Right to the east is Richmond which is famed for its Greek and Vietnamese restaurants as well as being the home to bargain shopping. Due south of the Yarra are the fashionable if not flamboyant suburbs of South Yarra and Prahran known as the city's destinations for designer fashion and food.
